| From 1978 reunion book: Barbara Ann attended Auburn University and was a member of Phi Mu Sorority and was Miss Auburn Engineer and Sweethear of Circle K. She lived in Atlanta for a year before marrying and worked as a rate clerk for a credit company. During this year, Neil Hightower finished school at Georgia Tech. Barbara Ann and Neil married in 1963 while he was serving in the U. S. Army and was stationed at Ft. Benning, Georgia. Their first child, Neil Jr., was born during this time. They moved to Thomaston, Georgia in 1965 where Neil started to work for Thomaston Mills, a textile company and now Executive Vice President. In 1966, their second child was born and named John Bauer after Barbara Ann's father. In 1968, their daughter was born and named Heidi Harrison, a true joy to barbara Ann and Neil. |

| Three children in four years, plus dogs, cats, fish, etc. kept Barbara Ann busy with family and plenty of outside interests. She did a lot of gardening, both vegetables and flowers. Barbara Ann sews a lot and has had the pleasure of winning two first place awards. She also enjoys handwork, needle point, cross stitch and has taught some classes. Barbara Ann was a member of a garden club and served as special project chairperson. During that time they published a cook book and at the time, was in the fourth printing. In 1975, she was nominated and selected to appear in the Outstanding Young Women of American edition. In 1978, she was busy with a friend planning kitchens and doing work remodeling some older homes. | May 2000 Barbara Ann and Neil were divorced in the mid '80's. At the 1989 reunion, she and Warren Faulk met for the first time on years, and were married in '89 or '90. They live near Macon, GA where they have an antique shop and Warren's long horn bull. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
