RATING:  When I heard that my parents were taking a cross country roadtrip to California, I told them to take pictures of every Stuckey's that they passed. They returned with only three pictures, the first being this location off of I-40, in Tucumcari, New Mexico. They pulled in to find the parking lot empty, save for the vehicle of the employee who had opened the store. My dad only took two shots of the building, which he said was kept in pristine condition, inside and out. He reported that they had a very generous gift selection, with a ton of Stuckey's merchandise. Personally, I would have taken more pictures, but they were on a time schedule, so I cannot complain. I scaled the original high-definition pictures down to a beautiful 1280 x 800 desktop wallpaper for my computer. -Dale |
