1. In order to participate you must be a list member. An exception to this rule is being considered, A guest maybe invited in. Procedure follows:
a. Anyone interested will have to contact moderators (a list member may do this on behalf of the guest.)
b. Moderators will extend invitation to the guest to visit that current week's chat.
c. The Guest must abide by the same rules as the list members.
2. The purpose of chat is to discuss the week's topic, so please, no off topic discussions.
3. Tolerance is a must!!! People will be sharing their opinions so be prepared to respect that! Heated debate is welcome but flaming is not. It will be the discretion of Moderators as to what action is taken. The guide lines follow:
a. first offense, warning from mod to mind your behavior.
b. second offense, kick & ban from room for that week's chat.
c. third offense (items 3a & 3b happening twice), kick & ban from room period. After all third time is the charm right?
4. Swearing will be tolerated BUT please keep it to a minimum as there are minors on list. Think about it, are expletives really necessary to get your point across? If the language gets to be offensive and/or detracts from the discussion.. Mods may employ the procedures above to correct the situation.
