The Rainbow Ridge mine train tunnels deep into the beautiful Rainbow
Caverns where surging waterfalls and multi-colored stalactites and
stalagmites are viewed in breathtaking splendor.
Trivia
- The mine train was originally called Rainbow Caverns Mine Train,
and began operating in 1956.
In 1960 it was renamed the Mine Train Through Nature's
Wonderland when the area was expanded.
In 1979 it was replaced by Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
- Cascade Peak was torn down in the summer of 1998 due to
irreparable water damage from decades of use.
