| Could it be possible, Reptile Men? Well there have been people reporting them, so I will have alook at some of the eyewitness accounts. In 1958 a Californian man, Charles Wetzel was driving his car near Santa Ana River when he was attacked by a creature with ahead like a scarecrow, shinny eyes and scales; it left scratches in his windshield. As he sped away he hit the monster and drove over it. The following evening another driver in the same area reported a similar experiance. The case of Mrs. Darwin Johnson of Evansville is a strange one, in 1955 she was swimming in the Ohio River when a clawlike hand grabbed her knee and dragged her under the water. Every time she struggled to reach the surface the unknown assailent dragged her back under. The thumping sound she made while grasping her friends inner tube finally scared the attacker away. She never accually saw the creature but it did leave a green palm stain on Mrs. Johnsons knee and scratches deep enought that she had to go and visit a doctor. There was another report in 1955, along the Miami River, Ohio, a man driving home from work at 3.30am on May 25th came apon a strange scene. He parked his car, he watched three awful looking creatures with lopsided chests, wide, lipless, froglike mouths, and wrinkles instead of hair on there heads; one held a device that emitted sparks and a odd odor filled the air. The witness reported the incident to the local police. On the 3rd March 1972, at 1am in the morning, two Loveland police officers saw a four foot tall frog- faced, two- legged creature with leathery skin. The creature jumped a roadside guard rail on its way down to the Miami River. Two weeks later one of the officers reported seeing the creature again on the roadway climbing a guard rail. The officer fired his gun at it but missed. A local farmer also reported seeing the creature. There was also a report in Canada on August 19th 1972, at Thetis Lake in British Columbia. A silver creature emerged from the water and chased two young men from the beach. One of the men recived cuts on his hand from the six sharp points on the creatures head. A few days later another person witnessed the creature also noticed the sharp points on its head. The witness also said it had a scaly human shaped body, monster face and great big ears.
