The men in black or M.I.B. are mysterious lot. They usually appear after someone has witnessed a UFO, to harass and intimidate them. They make threats in an effort to stop people talking or sharing their information. The MIB seem to come from nowhere and disappear the same way. Their appearance is quite strange. They have been described as bald, oriental looking with no facial hair including no eyebrows or eyelashes. They wear a whiter than white shirt with a black tie, black trousers and a black coat. The clothes they wear are immaculate in appearance and look brand new. There have been reports of some MIB wearing bright red lipstick. Their body moment seem robotic, very stiff and awkward. They show no emotion or facial expression and tend to have a monotone voice. The MIB tend to travel in groups of two or three but occasionally travel as an individual. Their favourate form of transport is a late 1950s black limo, usually a Cadillac with fins. The Cadillacs have been described by witnesses as looking brand new and even smelling brand new. There have also been reports of MIB following people in black unmarked helicpters. MIB have been known to use false identities such as F.B.I, C.I.A Airforce or Goverment employe to get in to witnesses homes. Some witnesses claim that the MIB can read minds and even control them. They get in to people's dreams, cause hallucinations and in general cause alot of stress in people's lives.
Lets have a look at the history of the men in black. I have found a story which could be considered a very old MIB report. In 1864 several strange artifacts were dropped from the sky over a small community in Texas. The objects of unknown origin were picked up by a local community member and placed in a store window in the main street of the town. The next day a stranger dressed in a long black coat visited the shopkeeeper and offered a high price for the objects. Because they did not belong to him, the shopkeeper said he did not have the right to sell the objects. That night the store mysteriously burned down and when the ashes and rubble were sifted through, none of the artifacts could be found. The stranger in black was never seen again.
The first modern day encounter with the MIB occured in 1953. A man called Albert K Bender was running an small organisation call the International Flying Saucer Bureau (IFSB). He was also the editor of a small magazine about UFO activity called the Space Review. The IFSB had a small membership, only couple hundred people but they were firm believers thet flying saucers were crafts from outerspace. These people were convinced that they were in possession of the truth, while the rest of the world remained ignorant. Bender claimed to have discovered the secrets behind UFOs and was going to publish his findings in the Space Review. But decided to show his idears to a colleague first so mailed him a copy. That is when Benders troubles began. A few days later Bender was lying in his bedroom he had a sudden dizzy spell. He then suddenly noticed three men standing in his bedroom all wearing black cloth. They looked a little like clergy men but wore hats simular to the Homburg. Their faces were partly hidden by the shadow of the hats but suddenly the eyes of all three men lit up like torch lights and focused on him. Bender said they seemed to burn into my soul and a pain above his eyes became almost unbearable. It was then he sensed they were conveying a message to him by telepathy. Bender's visitors told him that he was correct in his speculations about the UFOs. One of the men was acually carrying Benders report which he had mailed a few days earlier.
The three men gave Bender even more information. This terrified him and he was only willing to go along with the demands of the three men. Bender was told to shut down his organisation IFSB, stop publication of his magazine immediatly and not tell the truth to anyone, on the honour as an American citizen. Bender did shut shut everything down to the surprise and shock of friends and colleagues. Whether you believe or don't believe his story Bender's story has had alot of interest from UFO investigators. There have been many reports from other people which are similar to Bender's story but the majority of these people have never heard of Bender.
