Brainiac, having stored himself in LexCorp's computers, forces Lex Luthor to build him a new body -- while Superman and Mercy Graves team up to rescue Mercy's ungrateful boss.

An amnesiac Metallo surfaces on a volcanic island, and in his conclusion ' becomes a super-hero to a pair of young children. But his true nature returns as both Lois and Superman arrive to investigate -and the volcano begins to erupt!
017 "Blasts from the Past" Part Two
Intent on conquering the world, Jax-Ur and Mala send Superman into the Phantom Zone, and then destroy the Projector. As their decimating attacks begin, it's up to Lois and Professor Hamilton to rescue the Man of Steel in time.
018 "Livewire"
Radio shock-jock Leslie Willis is turned into a being of pure electricity, and begins her media-crazed rampage to drain Metropolis' power and kill Superman in the bargain.
019 "Target"
A one time mentor to Lois Lane, Edward Lytener is back on the scene. He wants the gratitude Lois never showed him, and he wants her undivided attention. So when life-threatening events begin occurring seemingly aimed at Lois, Superman is there to save the day.
020 "Identity Crisis"
Superman encounters Bizarro, an imperfect genetic double of The Man of Steel, who tries to take Superman's place as Metropolis' hero.
021 "Mxyzpixilated"
An imp named Mxyzptlk comes from another dimension to play mind games with Superman to prove who is more clever. To get rid of him, Superman must make the imp say his name backwards. He does but in the final round, the imp makes a new rule: Superman must make him say his name backwards twice. While eluding the imp (who has turned into a missile), Superman gets him to spell his name backwards twice with sky-writing--good-bye imp--banishing him forever.
022 "Speed Demons"
The Flash teams up with Superman to counter Mark Mardon, a.k.a. "The Weather Wizard," who holds Metropolis hostage with the threat of unleashing a killer hurricane.
023 "Double Dose"
Livewire busts Parasite out of Stryker's Island Prison with the sole intent of teaming up to confront and defeat Superman.
024 "Solar Power"
Edward Lytener returns as "Luminus," a light technology-based villain, who turns the sun red in order to drain Superman of his powers.
025 "Brave New Metropolis"
Lois falls into a parallel Metropolis, where Superman and Lex Luthor work together as dictators to hold the city in an authoritarian group of forced justice.
026 "Monkey Fun"
Superman encounters Titano, a monkey lost in outer space when Lois was a child. After Lois and Titano are reunited, the monkey goes through a metamorphous, growing into a rampaging King Kong-sized chimp, who Superman must take on to save Metropolis from the primate's uncontrolled scourge.
027 "The Prometheon"
A giant humanoid creature with incredible strength and heat-sapping abilities, falls to Earth and now threatens the planet. Superman has to fight the creature's advances and send it back into outer space.
028 "Father's Day"
Kalibak, son of Darkseid, arrives in Metropolis to kill Superman, and subsequently show his ability as a warrior to his father.
029 "The Hand of Fate"
A dormant spirit released from an ancient artifact, invades a petty thief, creating a monster named Karkull. Superman must gain the assistance of Doctor Fate to battle this monster.
030 "Bizarro�s World"
Bizarro, after visiting Superman's Fortress of Solitude, sees the demise of Krypton. Believing this is his own past, Bizarro constructs a "Krypton" in downtown Metropolis with the intent to blow it up in the same manner that Krypton exploded.
031 "Prototype"
A super-strong mechanical suit of armor stands as a threat to both villains and the innocent citizens of Metropolis. Piloted by an S.C.U. officer who becomes one with the suit, only Superman can thwart off the danger posed by this new multi-faceted, yet increasingly dangerous crime-fighting device.
032 "The Late Mr. Kent"
As Clark Kent rushes to save an innocent man from dying in the gas chamber, he is involved in an auto accident and thought to be dead. But the eyewitness is unreliable, allowing Clark to emerge and find the man who should truly be in the gas chamber -- Detective Kurt Bowman.
033 "Apokolips ... Now!" Part One
Darkseid brings his battle against Superman to Earth. While all looks hopeless, Orion, an escapee from Apokolips' firepits, teams up with Superman to defeat Darkseid's advances.
034 "Heavy Metal"
Superman teams up with Steel (John Henry Irons), to take on a much modified and improved Metallo.
035 "Apokolips ... Now!" Part Two
Steppenwolf, a hunter from Apokolips, joins Darkseid in his battle to take over Earth, which results in a crushing blow to Metropolis and Superman -- the death of Dan Turpin.
036 "Warrior Queen"
Maxima, Queen of Almerac, chases Superman as a potential mate. She takes the Man of Steel up to her planet, where, as she prepares to marry him, Superman educates Maxima that a mate isn't something to take, but a person who is won over and loved.
037 "Little Girl Lost Part I"
While Superman is exploring the remains of his home world of Krypton, he finds a teenage girl who is the last survivor of Argos, a sister planet of Krypton who's civilization was destoyed when Krypton exploded. He brings her to Earth where she discovers that she has superpowers like Superman's. Wanting to prove herself, she single-handedly takes on Granny Goodness and the rejuevinated Intergang.
038 "Little Girl Lost Part II"
When Granny Goodness calls upon her Female Furies from Apokolips for help, Superman comes to his "cousins" aid. When the Furies capture Superman and take him to Apokolips, it is up to Supergirl to rescue him. She must free him before Earth is destroyed by a deadly comet which has been directed to Earth by Darkseid's minion, Granny Goodness.
042 "Where There's Smoke"
Volcana, a villainess whose talent enables her to control fire, goes on a crime spree by stealing artifacts, while on the run from government agents and Superman.
043 "Knight Time"
Superman plays dress up and disguises himself as Batman to confront Roxy Rocket, Penguin and a host of other bad guys who are picking Gotham City clean in lieu of the real Batman's mysterious absence.
044 "New Kids In Town"
A teen-aged Clark Kent teams up with Chameleon Boy, Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl from the New Legion, to battle Brainiac in Clark's hometown of Smallville.
045 "Obsession"
Smitten with love, Toyman will do anything, even destroy Metropolis to get to Darci Mason, a mechanical fashion model. The only person standing between Toyman and his obsession for Darci is, of course, Superman.
046 "Absolute Power"
Superman confronts Jax-Ur and Mala as he defends a distant planet that the two Kryptonian outlaws have enslaved.
052 "Little Big Head Man"
Mr. Mxyptlk gets into trouble with the rulers of his planet when he enlists Bizarro's help to create havoc on Earth.

Origin story about Kyle Rayner, who is given the Green Lantern ring and teams up with Superman once Earth is attacked by Sinestro, the Green Lantern's most dangerous enemy.

Joker steals a statue made of solid Kryptonite and comes to Metropolis where he makes a deal-with Luthor to kill Superman. But Batman follows him to Metropolis.
040 "World's Finest" Part Two
Lois's romance with Bruce Wayne is almost nipped in the bud when Joker kidnaps her in order to lure Superman to his death. Batman's intervention saves the day and soon after, Lois tells a heartbroken Clark that she will be transferring to Gotham City in order to be with Bruce. But the move is postponed when Joker sics a killer robot on Batman and Superman must rescue a sinking ocean liner.
041 "World's Finest" Part Three
Lois's romance with Bruce Wayne hits rough waters when she discovers that he is Batman. Meanwhile, Luthor attempts to dissolve his partnership with Joker, but Joker turns the tables,, kidnapping Luthor and using the powerful new Lexwing aircraft to attack Metropolis. Superman and Batman must put aside their differences and work as a team to stop the remainder of Luthor's killer-robots and then save the city.
