 BEAST MACHINES EPISODES
The series spins out of Beast Wars and focuses on Optimus, Cheetor, Rattrap and Black Arachnia. After their defeat of Megatron, the Maximals wind up on their homeworld of Cybertron, with no recollection of how they got there. Instead of a celebration for the succession of Beast Wars, they find themselves being hunted by a new mysterious breed of Transformers: Vehicons. The Vehicons are under the force of Megatron, who has returned with a vengeance. The Maximals are forced underground where their bodies undergo strange reformations. They must adjust to their new metamorphoses and try to free Cybertron from Megatron. The computer-generated series is again being produced at Mainframe Entertainment, with 13 episodes planned for the first season. The writing team of Bob Skir and Marty Isenberg are Beast Machines' story editors. They are veterans in the animation field, having also developed the story bible for Fox Kids' The Avengers series. Marv Wolfman is one of the contributing writers. The cast of Beast Machines includes Garry Chalk at Optimus Primal, Ian Corlett as Cheetor, Paul Dobson as Tankorr, Brian Drummond as Jetstorm, David Kaye as Megatron, Scott McNeil as Rattrap and Venus Terzo as Black Arachnia.
