NDNZ built two Terrier chassis in response to The Yellow Bus Company's Small Bus Project. Stagecoach bought The Yellow Bus Company and no order eventuated. When Stagecoach reviewed Auckland's bus needs it decided to order a mixture of 39 and 51 seat coaches.
