| A Hollywood Lesson In Physics will be given a reading as part of Oracle Theatre's Truth Be Told Series -- a presentation of new works at Jeff George Photographic.
THE STORY: A Hollywood Lesson In Physics chronicles the oppressive atmosphere of detachment that settles following a tragic accident on the set of a big budget movie. Amidst the fog of this conspiracy of denial stands Aaron, a young cameraman, who is deeply affected by the event he has witnessed. Through the course of the play, he questions his role in the business of making B-movie magic. ..but will he reject it? THE WORKSHOP: The February Truth Be Told Workshop will consist of works that range from original music, dance, monologues, scenes and staged readings to improv comedy, spoken word, etc. The purpose of the Truth Be Told Series is to give artists a chance to present material to an audience in a constructive, comfortable setting. Admission is FREE with a suggested $5 donation. Reception with refreshments to follow. |
