UAZ-3165 "Simba"

The brand4x4 MPV by UAZ Works (producing will begun in 2001). It's 7 (9) seats 4 doors frame-based van (on UAZ-3162 chassis). Payload: 1,874 lbs (9 - seat modification). Suspension: solid axles with coil (front)/ leaf (rear) springs. Motor: ZMZ-409 type, gasoline (carburetor), ohv, 4 cylinders in line, displacement 2,700 cc, power: 148 hp. Gearbox: 5x2 steps from UAZ-3160. Brakes: drums, with hydraulic control. Wheel base 9'6.7". Track 5'5.9". Maneuverability: turning circle 40'.

Future upgrading: V-form engine, blocking transaxle differential, independent front suspension with longitudal torsions first at RWD then at AWD modification. There will be a pick-up UAZ-2365 (payload 2,866 lbs).
