This American website is full of useful information. There are sections for the public and practitioners. There is information on all forms of mental illness with data on: depression, bipolar and child and adolescent mental health.

Some of the articles that we found useful were:

  1. Depression in Children and Adolescents - A Fact sheet for Physicians

  2. Let's Talk About Depression

  3. What to do when a friend is depressed

This site has good policies and guidelines for mental health and some good downloads. They also have a Mental Health Promotion Tool Kit that was useful when attempting community assessments for the community development project.
