The following statement is remaining for historical purposes. However, given the current level of O.T.O. membership in Yorkshire, the fact that there are already two chartered bodies in the county (Templum Amoris was in Manchester when the following was written) which have shown themselves able to provide activity besides Gnostic Masses and initiations, and that NIWG activity as such has been limited to my maintaining of the website for the past year or two, there are currently no plans to apply for a charter for Leeds under the Nu Isis name.

Further to the above: shortly after writing the above I was reasonably reliably informed that the semi-official recognition of unchartered “working groups” within O.T.O. has now ceased (in any case, as far as I can tell no official notice of NIWG as a group has been taken by even the national section of O.T.O. for some time). As such, Nu Isis Working Group is to all intents and purposes dormant, and is unlikely to form the basis for any future O.T.O. body in Leeds.

NOW YE ALL that, following the decision of the International
Supreme Council of Ordo Templi Orientis to close the formally
chartered body of the said Order for the Valley of Leeds, viz.,
Sunwheel Oasis, the members of Ordo Templi Orientis in the
aforesaid city have expressed their will to form a provisional
O.T.O. working group to continue the activities of the Order in
Leeds, this group to be known by the name of the Nu Isis Working
Group; the purposes of the said group including, but not limited
to, wide-ranging research, the construction and maintenance of an
Internet site for the benefit of the Thelemic community in
general and the Ordo Templi Orientis as manifested under the
Caliphacy in particular, and the composition and performance of
such rituals as the membership may deem appropriate; and in the
fullness of time this group may seek recognition as a formally
chartered encampment of Ordo Templi Orientis.
