RIGGEN HO RACE RULES:

If you have referred to the rules posted for any previous races, please disregard them as the rules have changed to reflect the changes in the product and the greater interest in modifying these cars.

All cars must run a stock Riggen HO chassis of the type manufactured after 2000 .  Original vintage chassis are not eligible for this race.  Pin tube shaker plates are allowed as are weighted guide flag retainers.

All other parts may be changed or upgraded to the Riggen 3000 series specs but not greater.  This means any axle, gear, pickup assembly or pick ups may be used that is equal to or less than the ones used on the Riggen 3000 series

Home improvements on the RiggenHO or AJ’s pin type guide flag are allowed.

Rear wheels may be slip on silicones on any hub or one piece AST (applied silicone technology) tire from any maker.

Front wheels, tires and axles may be of any material and may be independent or fixed.  Front wheels and tires must be present.

Motors may not exceed original Mabuchi green wire specifications, ie, stock ceramic magnets, commutator and resistance of greater than 2.6 ohms.  Rewinds, de-winds and balancing are not permitted and motors showing signs of tab tampering will be disqualified.

Bodies may not be cut or lowered in any way. Bodies must be mounted on shaker plate nibs or with body pins below the running boards.  Tires must fit under unmodified body. Body may be prototype or ‘thingie’ butyrate or lexan.

Chassis may not be cut or drilled.  Chassis may be polished and de-burred if desired.

Wheels may not exceed 1 5/16” width.

Riggen front guide weight (mushroom cap or retainer nut) ONLY may be used on front guide, applied lead may be used in other places

If it doesn’t say you can do it…..you can’t do it!
