Career Highlights: WWE Champion, WWE Tag Team Champion, Hardcore Champion
Ever since he was a young child, Mrs. Foley's baby boy dreamed of being a
WWE Superstar, so much so that as a young teenager, Foley made a film of
himself as the character Dude Love jumping off the top of a roof! That was a
sign of things to come as Foley would later enjoy a run as one of the
fiercest and toughest competitors to ever enter the ring. There was no risk
that
Foley was not willing to take, whether it was through a table, through the
roof of Hell in a Cell, or on top of thumb tacks! If it meant a shot at
glory in the ring, Foley would do it ... and for this he will forever be
cherished as a legend.
After vacating his position on RAW as Co General Manager near the end of
2003, Foley returned after repeated public taunts by Randy Orton to defend
his status as Hardcore Legend. With a newly found hatred in his heart, it
appears as if Foley is more dangerous than ever before. He returned to RAW a
man on a mission, and if history repeats itself and Foley returns to form,
he will accomplish his mission and then some. Most recently, Foley reunited
with The Rock and competed as the Rock 'n' Sock Connection against Evolution
at WrestleMania XX. While Foley was pinned by Orton, he proved that after
four years away from the ring, he is not afraid to mix it up and he is as
tough as ever.
He has battled all of the greats from Stone Cold Steve Austin, to The Rock,
and Triple H and whether he was Mankind, Dude Love, or simply Mick Foley, he
is one of the toughest men to ever enter the ring. Despite all of the broken
bones, stitches, and even partial dismemberment of his ear, Foley has always
left the arena on his two feet ... a credit to his toughness. He was the
first-ever Hardcore Champion. After all, there is probably no Superstar in
WWE history as hardcore as Mick Foley!
