| Home | Ratings Chart | From: Japan Weight: 200 pounds Akio is new to SmackDown! as he was brought in by Tajiri to form the Kyo Dai team, along with Sakoda. Little is known about Akio, with the exception being that he hails from Japan and is a product of a Japanese wrestling tradition that has produced some of the great names in sports entertainment, past and present. Akio first came on the WWE scene at No Mercy in October when, along with Sakoda, he jumped out of the stands and distracted the referee, allowing Tajiri to win the Cruiserweight Championship from Rey Mysterio. Since then, he has proved to be a loyal and often dangerous partner to Tajiri. Akio may not say much, but during his time in WWE he has let his actions to the talking and based on that, it is clear that this young SmackDown!
