Gid appears to be the stereotypical ork. His massive build and steel right arm make him appear fierce and dangerous. His hair is long and pulled back to a small ponytail with his bangs flared up in greasy strokes. His eyes are set back in his head, nothing more than tiny hazel pinpricks against his rough features. Most of the time Gid wears heavy leathers. He doesn't put much in on outward appearance, favoring protection over looks. He stands 2.0 meters (6'7") tall and weighs about 104 kg (230 lbs)

Gid is very professional by nature. He doesn't like fooling around and dislikes any half-wit wannabe in his presence. He is violent and aggressive when provoked, but he tends to be calculating and planning a great deal when he's charged with pulling off an operation. His is also completely cold at what he does, unafraid to stand up to anyone. Easily insulted, Gid can be vindictive at times.

Gid has ties with the underground. That's the only place that he truly feels comfortable enough to lower his guard. The underground is his home as the rest of society has pushed him out. After spending years as a Mercenary in far off countries, he has learned the value of patience. Though his reputation as being vindictive and violent has cost him more than one friend.

Gideon was born in the Seattle Sprawl in 2032 to his mother, Laura. Three years before Laura had been goblinized into an ork. Her family disowned her and caste her out on her own. She became addicted to a number of drugs while she was out on the streets. She eventually came to live with a clan of orks in Auburn where Gid was born
After the Night of Rage, Gid's home with the orkish clan was burned to the ground. So Laura took him to live in the ork underground. It was here in the subterranean world that Gid grew up. His mother eventually abandoned him, running off to pursue her own dreams. In return Gid was taken in by an ork named Sidney Rags. Sidney was part of the underground's police force even though he wasn't an active officer. It was his job to repair and maintain the equipment that the underground force had.

Later in his life, in August of 2047, Gid joined the Ork Underground Police force. It was little more than a glorified gang that enforced peace and it's own brand of justice. It was here that he met Bob Fellit, another ork in much the same situation as himself. The two became close friends over the years that followed.

In 2053 both Gideon and Bob left Seattle and joined a group of mercenaries called the Roughriders.. For most of the next five years Gideon would travel around most of the world, pulling all sorts of operations as a mercenary. He also served in the Desert Wars in 2055 and 56 working closely with Ares. In November of 2058 he returned to Seattle, having had enough of roaming around the world and anxious to break away from the mercenary unit he had joined and get into freelancing.
