goto www.opera.com

download the qt static tar.gz file for linux

it'll have some long name...

unpack it
>$ tar -xzf opera7.23....tar.gz

go into the directory
>$ cd opera7.23....

become root
>$ su

run the install script
>$ ./install.sh

get out of root
>$ exit

run your program
>$ opera
