"Eighties coming back" - Claire's Birthday
The Estonian Final was held on February 8th at the ETV TV Studios in Tallinn, hosted by Marko Reikop & Romi Erlach. The winner was chosen by an international panel of 8 judges which included Michael Ball (UK 1992), Darja Svajger (Slovenia 1995/1999), Bo Halldorsson (Iceland 1995), Sergio (Belgium 2002), Moshe Datz (Israel 1991), Renars Kaupers (Latvia 2000) plus jurors from Sweden & Germany. The winner of the public vote was Vanilla Ninja.

Family consisted of Susan Lilleväli, Kaire Vilgats, Maiken, Diana Varik & Asja Kristofor. Maiken and Kaire Vilgats were both backing singers for Ines in ESC 2000, while Kaire also did the same for Malta in ESC 2002.
Koit Toome represented Estonia in 1998. Maarja (ESC 1996/1997) & Evelin Samuel (ESC 1999) were amongst his backing singers.
Claire's Birthday renamed themselves Ruffus at the Eurovision, where they came 21st.
