Received on 28 May 2001 Dear VY I am visiting Kuala Lumpur and also attending some cultural programmes which is going on in Kuala Lumpur at this time, the beginning of the school holiday. There were talks, exhibitions and promotions related to Chinese cultures Which is of much interest to me. On the 26th night, for instance I attended a talk by Tan Koon Swan who, as you may be aware, is the former MCA President. His talk was centred on a number of interesting topics. He talked about his experience and offered some suggestions on how to deal with adverse situations, Chinese mindset reforms and political stability in Malaysia.
