In this section we acknowledge many unsung heroes: the trishaw riders, Taxi drivers, dancing girls, hair dressers and even prostitutes etc who donated their earnings to build Nanyang University.

We thank those people who love Nanyang University. We thank the professors and lecturers who taught us, the administrators and workers who helped to run the University. We thank the contractors who declined to tender for the work called by the government to demolish the majestic entrance gate ("Pei Lou") of the University.
