IT IS BILINGUAL

Let me turn the clock back to early sixties when I was a student at Nanyang University. Singapore then was in its transition from colonial rule to independence by joining Malaysia. The Nantah students were almost 100% students from Chinese schools. It was best not to speak English in campus. If I kept writing in English, I could lose many friends and perhaps stoned or branded as a running dog of colonialism.

Now, the clock is turned back to normal. I am sure most of you would understand why I write this web site initially in English. I am yet to find a computer software which is my cup of tea and is able to handle the input and display of Chinese characters the way I like. This takes time.

Your articles for this web site may be in Chinese or English and both are equally welcome. If you send articles in Chinese, please have it in html format.
