Rocks --- NOT!
It used to
be that KHRD (aka Red Rocks 103.1 & 93.3 MHz) here in Redding Ca., was
the undisputed rock and roll station in Redding.
In my opinion, 93.3 MHz, 103.1 MHz, and 106.1 MHz are dead air between 6:00
AM and 10:00 AM.
But, after at least a year of promos telling the listeners that they were
less talk and
more rock in the
morning, they have done just the opposite.
Now, in the morning from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, we have to endure the endless
babbling of Mark and Brian (I don't care if they are from Redding.)
A clone of Bob and Tom heard during the same time frame on KRRX (106.1 MHz
aka The "X") The city of Redding has no rock in the morning at all.
But, to add insult to injury, they have also added FUCKING FOOTBALL to their
programming. WHAT THE FUCK! That's OK for some news/talk AM radio
station. But come on -- on a rock station -- on FM? Football doesn't
belong on any music station. Who is the FUCKING SELLOUT LOOSER that
made that choice? I think they are more interested in sucking some
corperate cock than they are in the LISTENER.
So, rockers of Redding, we have been betrayed by the station that bragged
about their lack of talk and surplus of rock. We must let them know that they
are fucking up.
Call or FAX them and tell them that this isn't appreciated by the listeners
