Walt Disney: Rated R
Any given movie that is released to the theatres will be given a rating based on its appropriateness and intent for a specific audience. Generally, movies with a PG (Parental Guidance) rating are something appropriate for viewers of all ages. An R (Restricted) rating usually implies that the viewer should be mature enough to absorb any offensive material in the film. Most people are aware of Walt Disney created movies. These movies are usually labeled to be PG rated, involve cute and memorable cartoon or computer generated characters, and are viewed and loved by people of both young and old ages. However, has anyone actually sat down to analyze what values Walt Disneys movies are actually influencing on its viewers? The creators at Disney are sexually perverted, and this perversion is being filtered down to the audience absorbing its sick and twisted nature. It is because of Disney movies, and not the stereotypical R rated violent movies, that there is so much human corruption and crime in the world today. This is particularly true with respect to The Little Mermaid and Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.
The Little Mermaid could very well be the most pornographic film I have ever seen. Just look at the fact that Ariel, along with the entire merfolk society roam around freely, in public mind you, without wearing a shirt or pants. That is called being a sex offender last time I checked. Not to mention public indecency. What message does this give children watching? That it is okay to walk the streets naked. And believe me, this can be a very bad thing. The last thing that I need in my life to be honest is to see a bunch of ridiculously overweight fat cows walking in front of me buck naked. However, there are other messages that are delivered to viewers in this movie as well. In The Little Mermaid, the protagonist mermaid, Ariel, wants nothing more than to be a normal human, and to win over the heart of the main male lead, Eric. Ariel is so desperate to do so, that she eventually makes a deal with an outcast of the sea, Ursula. Ursula gives Ariel legs and makes her perfectly human, however, in exchange Ariel is forced to concede her beautiful voice to Ursula, rendering her forever more as a mute. Ariel agrees to this deal, thinking about the rewards she will receive in Eric, and so the trade is made. In this part of the film, Ariel is so desperate to get a guy to like her that she is willing to accommodate to any sacrifice necessary. Do not think that this morale goes unnoticed to the audience either. A major complaint in todays society is that little girls in particular are being influenced by the media that it is mandatory to conform to societys social values in order to be accepted and to fit in with the crowd. Girls do not get this idea from any TV show, magazine or movie. This comes from The Little Mermaid. This movie gives the idea that to be accepted in society and to get boys to like you, it does not matter how large the sacrifice is. In The Little Mermaid, Ariel was willing to sacrifice her voice in order for humans to accept her as one of their own, and to get Eric to like her. In real life, a girl could interpret this to very serious matters such as an eating disorder. And it is the parents who allow their children to view this content, and absorb this morale. It is obvious from this that The Little Mermaid should not be viewed by anyone, and should be given a more appropriate rating of R for sexual perversion, and suggestive themes.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarves is another textbook example of the filth and sleaze that Walt Disney puts into his undeservingly PG rated movies. The messages in this movie are of a criminal nature, as well as of a sick sexual perverse nature. This film teaches children exactly how to kill another human being. In one scene, the audience is shown the evil Queens dungeon, where there are prison-like cells. There is a skeleton reaching for a bucket of water in one of the cells, but the water is just out of its reach. The evil Queen then simply laughs at the skeletons misfortune, and kicks the pail over, spilling the water on the floor. After watching this part of the movie, the younger audience is now going to understand that an effective way to commit murder is to lock up their victim and deprive them of water, leading to a slow and painful death. It can then be concluded that Snow White and the Seven Dwarves is the sole creator of serial killers. This is not the end of negative messages in this movie however. Another one comes later in a scene where the evil Queen, who is jealous of Snow Whites beauty, wishes to rid of Snow White so that she may be the fairest person in the land. To do this, the Queen develops a diabolical plan to pose as a merchant, and sell Snow White a poisonous apple. Of course, thinking this is a normal apple Snow White consumes it and dies from the poison. Now, there are a couple of things that are subliminal to children viewers. One is similar to the above mentioned point, that Snow White and the Seven Dwarves encourages serial killers. After all, now children have just been imbued the knowledge of how to murder another person with poison. This scene will also affect children however, when it comes time for trick-or-treating on Halloween. Remember parents, if your children runs away from a persons house screaming in terror at the top of their lungs, it is because someone gave them some sort of apple. (This essay in no way supports adults giving apples out on Halloween. That is an entirely different matter all together. These people should be stabbed with a sharp knife directly in the eye). And when your children grow up and have to work out their phobia of apples with a psychiatrist later in life, you can have Walt Disney to thank. This movie also displays some strange 19th century confederate pro-slavery propaganda as well. Seven men bring Snow White to their house, and force her to stay at home so she may cook and clean for them while they go to work. While Snow White is not getting paid for this action, the only logical conclusion is that she is a slave. It can also be concluded that the seven dwarves are taking sexual advantage of their new slave at night too. This is just logical common sense.
Of course, no Walt Disney movie would be complete without a happy ending, so Snow Whites death is not the end of the film, but rather the beginning of more sexual perversion. After Snow Whites death, the seven dwarves mount her corpse in a glass coffin above ground, so that the whole world may gaze upon her beauty. Now, this is sick in itself, as characters in the movie are now getting sexually aroused by a dead woman. Disney could not leave this alone however. In the movie, the seven dwarves then go to a nearby town, and find a Prince. They bring the Prince back to Snow Whites body, so that he may place upon her a kiss that restores her to life. The Prince and Snow White then fall in love and live happily ever after. But waitsomething subliminal has just taken place in this scene. Let us take a closer look at what has just transpired. The seven dwarves go to a nearby town to find a Prince to kiss Snow White. A couple of things just do not seem to fit here. One is that Snow Whites dead body is being taken advantage of by some strange man. When a person has sex with a dead body, it is called necrophilia. Necrophilia is just nasty, but in Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, the message children are getting is that necrophilia is okay. I cannot think of one person who would want their dead corpse being taken sexual advantage of by some stranger. The other concept that is not right about this situation is the fact that the dwarves found the Prince and brought him back. Now, when a person (or in this case seven people) finds a male to have some sort of intimate contact with a female, it is called tricking the female out. The seven dwarves, through this action, are no more than your everyday, run of the mill pimps. But what makes it even more wrong is that they are pimping out a dead woman. What is it with Walt Disney and his sexual fetish for necrophilia? It can then be concluded that Snow White and the Seven Dwarves plays a large factor in all the sexual molestation in the world today. That is all liminal by the way in that this is what the movie is directly telling you is okay. However, there is a more subliminal message in this scene. This message is carried out when the Princes kiss brings Snow White back to life. The message this sends, particularly to little girls, is that if you let men take sexual advantage of your body, then you will be greatly rewarded. This of course is positive propaganda with respect to prostitution. In the movie, Snow Whites reward was a second chance at life. In real life, this reward is usually more of a monetary value. One thing I can say for sure is that if I had a daughter, this is not the sort of morale I would want her getting from a supposedly PG rated movie. It can easily be said that Snow White and the Seven Dwarves should forfeit its PG rating, and adopt a more appropriate rating of R.
It is truly because of Disney movies, and not the stereotypical R rated movies that there is so much human corruption in the world today. The Little Mermaid and Snow White and the Seven Dwarves are only two examples of this fact from a long list in the Disney collection. While The Little Mermaid is pornographic by technically not wearing shirts or pants, it also reflects on little girls that no sacrifice is too big to get a boy to like you. It also encourages children to abandon any independence they have within their own personality, and to become more to societys likings, as this is the only way one can be accepted. Snow White and the Seven Dwarves allows children at a free look into the world of espionage murder. This film also gives children the idea that it is okay to mistreat women, especially when they are dead. One thing I would like to get across for sure is that necrophilia is wrongvery wrong. There is a saying, If your friends all jumped off a bridge, would you do it too? With this in mind, and please kids, pay attention to this part; just because one sick fuck forgot to take a cold shower that morning and takes some sort of nasty sexual gratification in necrophilia, DO NOT copy this action. A final note to parents: All Disney movies have messages like this. Just because I only covered The Little Mermaid and Snow White and the Seven Dwarves does not mean those are the only two you should forbid your children from viewing. Please, for my sake, your childrens sake, and for the sake of the future of humanity as we know it, round up as many Disney movies as you can get your hands on, and burn them all!
