Put Your Hand Down
With the relatively recent spread of democracy throughout the world today, many people have become institutionalized to have a greater sense of participation in many areas of life. While this is a great accomplishment in itself, nothing in this world is without its ugly side; and in the case of the subject of this rant, I�m talking about Oprah Winfrey getting out of the shower kind of ugly�and anyone who attends school can testify to that. What is this deplorable phenomenon one may ask? For the answer, you need to look no further than that butt-fucking son of a bitch who, in the middle of lecture, has their arm raised in the air.
Why do these people feel it necessary to contribute to some sort of non-existent discussion in the middle of my precious lecture time? I pay a lot of money to go to school to learn about my chosen subject matter from a professional who has seen it all�not to hear some brown-nosing asshole talk about God knows what irrelevance. I do not care what anecdote you have to share with the class�it has nothing to do with what we are talking about, and is only wasting the professor�s time to describe what will actually be on the exam! Now I have to study twice as hard to catch up on what the professor could not cram into the lecture, and my mark has to consequently suffer because this ass belonker felt it necessary to tell me what they think about when reading the newspaper?
What the hell makes these people think that we want to hear what their opinion is anyway? In my public policy class, I want to learn about the development of, and implementation of, different types of policy; I do not even have a miniscule of interest in my entire being as to what you think about George W. Bush, especially considering that this is Canadian public policy, of which nothing relates to George Bush. What would even send someone off on such an unrelated tangent anyways? Are they the retarded spawn of a mentally handicapped hillbilly that had butt sex with his retarded baboon of a sister? I mean, for as little as I care what these people think outside of class and on a normal basis, now we are talking about wasting my tuition fee with garbage that will probably, in the end, make me dumber.
Now, it is one thing to raise your hand in lecture and ask a question out of confusion. At least that is still related to the topic, and forces that professor to give more information on something that will probably show up on the exam. But why in the name of Zeus� BUTTHOLE would you want to give a comment or an opinion that is neither relevant, nor goes so far as to even make any sense during my lecture time? It is all just a massive waste of everyone�s time and money; and considering that these hand-raisers are doing it within punching range of the other students in the class�
How about those smug people who think that they will be presenting information that the professor will praise as being new and original? The professor is an expert in this field you jackass! He has heard everything there possibly is to hear about this subject already, especially the nonsense an amateur such as yourself has to contribute. Furthermore, how about those morons who, for some unexplainable reason, try to prove that they have a greater mastery of the material than the professor? Save that fictional bullshit for your dreams asshole, the professor will just make you look stupid in front of a large group of people�and considering the overall popularity of these people to begin with, they are not helping themselves out any.
So please, to all those ass-ramming, uncle fuckers out there, the next time you contemplate wasting everyone�s time in lecture with your useless comments, please evaluate the urgency to do so, while acknowledging the fact that if you do chose to raise your hand, it will not be long until my fist penetrates the back of your head. To those people who find the same level of annoyance in the situation I described, do not hesitate to crucify any hand-raisers you may come across in your academic lives. Oh! And one last important thing to those of you who do frequently contribute something worthless to lectures at any school; SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!
