The Difference Between Newb and Noob – A newb is someone who is new to the game, a newbie. This term can be used in a non-derogatory sense as in "You’re new to the game", or in a derogatory sense as in "You're new to the game, hence a moron". Due to how easily this word can be switched around, one should make sure that the other is aware of how you are using it.
Noob on the other hand only has one side to it. It is always derogatory. This is a common way of telling someone that they are very uneducated on the game and should quit now before they embarrass themselves further. Either that or get some education on the game. It’s their choice really.
For simplicity’s sake, I’ll only use "newb" in this rant. It will always be a derogatory term which can represent any idea above. It if wasn’t the derogatory term, there wouldn’t be a point to this rant.
The Sneak In Newb – This newb is really annoying, as they enter a room which says that we’re playing solo and to please not come in to start.
I don’t mind that too much, personally, but here’s the kicker. This newb also runs to the boards and take your place in the quest which the rest of your static group is in.
Now, I was taking my sweet-ass time, yes, but I was getting food and combining items for the task at hand. But honestly, what in the hell makes you think that a group consisting of a level 20, a level 16s and a level 6 (? on the level 6) all wearing Rathalos armor, is going to want you, an under equipped level 4, when their friend, another level 16 wearing Rathalos armor and using the Divine Slasher (not some sword and shield) is getting stat up stuff prepared, while you have none.
And when you’re asked to leave, you don’t, thinking that a static group that I’m in, who are all sitting in my basement, is going to leave without me and take some incompetent newb like you.
Honestly, stupidity is the only word that I can think of for that.
The "I'm Going To Rip Off Myst And Hanzaemon At An Attempt To Make My Own Type Of Newbs Rant" Newb - This GameFags based, idea leeching son of a bitch fails at life, therefore tries to rip off other people’s idea's and take them as his own. He fails miserably at this, but that's because he's an idea leeching ass-hole and doesn't know how to flame someone efficiently. Good job you idea leeching fucktard!
