Zangief

This is one of the most dangerous characters that you'll ever face in this game. Most of his attacks go through your block and all of them do massive damage. This guy's only downfall is the low speed. The best way to deal with him is to play keep away. If you are using him, it's best to be on the offensive when you have over half of your life left and play it a bit more defensive when you're under half life. Try to jump in with him and link your attacks with single hits or the air combo provided below. He can deal massive damage, and he takes hits well. If you can use him properly, this can be the best character for you to use.


Special Attacks

Spinning Clothesline - 3P
Spinning Lariat - 3K
Flaming Fist Slap - DPM+P
Air Suplex - DPM+K
Siberian Bear Crusher - HCF+K
Siberian Suplex - HCF+K (when he doesn't have to take one step)
Spinning Pile Driver - 270+P


Super Attacks

Final Atomic Buster - 270+2P
Ultra Final Atomic Buster - 270+2K (Level 3 Super)
Mecha Zangief Morph - RDPM+2K


Combos

SJ+D+FP, D+MP, U+LP, 3P, FK, 270+2P
This is the 2nd most damaging combo for Zangief. This starts off by hitting them with a body press, (D+FP in the air), and then linking that into a launcher. With that, a 2 hit combo in the air. You will land first. From that, they will come down unable to recover. You can then use a FK hitting them back up and then use the Final Atomic Buster to end it off. They can't recover from the Final Atomic Buster unless they can pull out a really fast double jump or counter attack. The whole thing doesn't link together, but it does do massive damage.

SJ+D+FP, D+MP, U+LP, 3P, FK, QCF+FP+FK
This is the strongest known combo for Zangief. This is the same thing as the last one, only instead of the Final Atomic Buster at the end after the FK, you use a double team super and put them in pain.

FK, DPM+P
This is a nice combo to get them away from you. This is just a FK into a Flaming Fist Slap. Do the Flaming Fist Slap right after the first hit of the FK cancelling the second hit out or else the combo will not work.

FK, DPM+WK
This is a nice combo to be linked into, and it can cause some damage to those who aren't smart enough to block it. All you have to do is use a FK and hit 2 times with it so that they fly into the air a bit. Once the 2 hits have gone, then all you have to do is use the Air Suplex and that will send them straight back down. This can be linked with hits before it, but I just put this part in. Be sure t use the WK on the Air Suplex also, or ti won't work. This also won't link together, but due to the fact that the Air Suplex is unblockable, they won't be able to escape.
