Ifrit is the flame gauntlets that you get in Mission 9. This mode is unmobile compared to the Alastor, but is very damaging. With the ability to charge up almost all of the attacks in this form to make them all about 4 times stronger, there isn't much that the enemies can take. It does take a bit to charge up an attack though, but the damage is worth the wait and danger.
Special Moves
Magma Drive - Hold your aiming button and hit away plus the slash button. This is an uppercut that hits the enemy into the air. This can be charged up also.
Cost - 500 Red Orbs.
Kick 13 - Hold your aiming button and hit towards plus the slash button. This is a quick spin kick that moves forward a bit. It does hit the enemy down though if it is possible to hit them down. When In Devil Trigger Mode, this will unleash a combo which does massive damage. The second level's attack adds a final hit onto the combo which sometimes comes in handy, but it can be a pain sometimes.
Level 1 Cost - 700 Red Orbs, Level 2 Cost - 2100 Red Orbs.
Rolling Blaze - Jump to use this. This turns every jump into an attacking shield for Dante. This comes in handy for dealing with projectiles especially.
Cost - 3450 Red Orbs.
Meteor - When in Devil Trigger Mode, hold your aim button and hit back and slash. This is a projectile attack that stuns enemies. This can be charged for a larger explosion (hitting more enemies) and much more damage.
Level 1 Cost - 900 Red Orbs, Level 2 Cost - 2700 Red Orbs.
Inferno - When In Devil Trigger Mode, jump then hold a direction and hit slash. Dante will drop with a small angle in that direction and slam his fist into the ground causing an eruption of large flames around him. Takes off about 2 and a half Devil Trigger Symbols but could easily be the most damaging attack in the game.
Cost - 4850 Red Orbs.
