"But all my words come back to me in shades of mediocrity."
Peter Simon

This is only part of the picture. The rest of it was drawn too lightly to be picked up my my state of the art 1987 9dpi scanner. But even though the rest is useless, I decided to use this part anyway. I vaguely recall drawing it on the Jekyll band trip. Yes, it was right before Terri forced me to draw the baby angel. Nothing like a long bus ride.

Slightly corny, but I like it anyway. It seems like the more descriptions I have to do, the less I can think of to say. Oh! Here's a news bit. Sara Johnson has announced that this was the one she drew the lips on and she wants her damn credit. Well, there ya go.

This one is actually done in charcoal, not pencil, but I have so few charcoal drawings that I saw no point in making a page for them. This is kind of how I felt at the time when I was drawing it.

My alien! Also done in charcoal, this little guy is so wonderfully cheesy that I just had to post it. That piece of a pyramid looking thing is actually the door to his ship. All the objects are floating because he has telekinesis! Deep? No. But still fun. And there's nothing like a good conspiracy.

Somehow this reminds me of Wilma Flinstone. I don't know what I was going for with the hair. This is another "Wildflowering of Chasity" piece. I had to do something to pass the time at play practice. That sketchbook was with me nearly every night.

It's a hat! And a flower! At this point I was just scanning anything. The hat is kinda Tuxedo Max inspired. Um... that's all I can think of to say about it.

This is definetly one of my favorites. I liked it a lot better before it got so smudged, but that's okay. I reall should hairspray my drawings, but quite frankly, the stuff frightens me. Do any of you remember the early 90's? I've seen what hairspray can do. I'd rather just stay away.
