It's a kokopelli. He's this Native American symbol. I think he's cool. Sara started the kokopelli craze, and Micheal has one tatooed on his arm. (Although I doubt that has anything to do with Sara's necklace seeing as they only met once.) I've been saying forever I would paint one, and so I did. I wanted to do a winding staircase going into the sky, but it was just too hard to sketch out. So there's stepping stones instead. The "mist" as Leah called it, is the energy from his music. Inside are all sorts of faces, animals, and people. See any of it? It's easier to spot on the actual painting.
