"I draw what I draw, and I like it. Screw you if you don't."
Brandon Jones

I know it seems like these are just some damn plants, but to me, it looks like they're dancing. The leaves are the head and limbs, and on the flowers, it's their skirts. It reminds me of some Fantasia thing or something. That was my intent anyway. Watercolor and ink.

Usually I have no real plan for what I'm doing, I just start drawing in pencil and see what I come up with. Usually thinking just complicatings things. I don't recomend it. Bit of everything used in this one. Acrylic, ink, and watercolor.

I think I could use a little more practice with watercolors. I know this one isn't that creative, but there was this dolphin picture in National Geographic and I just felt like painting dolphins. Yes, those ARE dolphins, and there are TWO of them. Take a step back and squint. See it now?

Watercolors again. Oh, but that tiny ship off in the background is in ink. The girl on the rocks is a siren. They sing beautifully, luring men at sea to crash into jagged rocks. Sirens kick ass.
