Nursery Bogies

Nursery Bogies, also called the Frightening Figures, are revolting faeries, extremely terrifying in their appearance and have even a worse reputation for the acts they perform on Humans.

Mothers, nursemaids, and nannies often used these faeries' names as warnings to children to keep them out of danger's way, be it from a locale such as a river bank, from performing some act such as eating certain plants or berries, and to keep them well behaved and in order.  Adults sometimes also used their names when speaking oaths and curses.

Nursery bogies are very varied in their appearance and haunts but are grouped together in this class for the common use of their names to terrify children.  This gives them a place in the low ranks of the Unseelie Court in a rank unto themselves.
