F.A.E.R.I.E.
We are a group of like-minded spirits who form the Clan of the Myste.  We are Elves, Fairies, Dryads, Fauns, Sidhe and all manner of Benevolent Faerie.  We are Warriors, Wizards, Healers, Priestesses and Musicians.  We are all this and more.

F.A.E.R.I.E. (Fantasy and Elder Races Imagined & Enacted) is a non-profit role playing social group that was formed to keep the myths and legends of the Bright Folk alive.  We strive to encourage creativity, imagination, skills and talents that have been brushed aside by the modern or 'Mundane' world  in which we live.
We have created a fantasy world, with many facets based on myth, legend & tales both old and new, that our members dwell in and interact with each other.  Though we have done this, we are not a D&D or Changeling group, nor do we use this created world or condone its use as escape from reality.

We are a positive group.  We do not encourage members to portray Dark or evil characters, though they do exist in myths & legend.  Assassins, demons and these such beings & professions are also not encouraged for character personas, as they are not our goal.  We wish to encourage friendship and kinship of the heart.

We are not a religious, sexual, racial or political group, nor do we endorse or back such efforts.  These may be individual opinions, but they do not have a place in the Clan of F.A.E.R.I.E.

F.A.E.R.I.E. is a special group, and because it is such, you cannot just pay to join. Our members are carefully selected to help contribute to the fantasy world we have created.  Members MUST be 18 years of age, but the requirements do not end there.  Members are chosen on how well they portray their characters through character requirements, costume, role-playing, story-telling and what they contribute to the Clan of the Myste.  Interaction with other guests & members at functions, story-telling, singing, writing and artwork contributed to the Clan's newsmagazine the
An Craobh Airgid are examples of such contributions.

The Clan of F.A.E.R.I.E. is governed by the two founders of the Clan who are known as the Elden. Though the Clan does not have a King or Queen, all decisions for the Group are made by the Elden to ensure things run smoothly. It is their responsibility to keep the Clan records, organize, aid in the creation of personas & role-play & help to guide members, etc...When the size of the group requires on, there is a Council.  The Council exists to aid the Elden.  The Council is made up of Full Members, who are known as Guardians of the Grove.

The Clan meets, at least once a month, at meetings called
Gatherings.  Gatherings take place in the homes of the members. Events that occur at Gatherings include feasts, entertainment, role-play scenarios, games & surprises.  It is at Gatherings we can portray our characters, get to know each other & meet knew guests.  A minimal cost is required of all those who attend to cover the cost of the Gathering.  Because Gatherings are held in the homes of the members & the group is based on role-play, Guests must be pre-approved by the Elden to attend.

To be invited to a Gathering, you'll need to introduce yourself to one of the Elden.  Once you contact the Elden & request more information on the Group, you can start working an a Character.
