History: Nightbringer is the first born male in his family and was given his father's name of Zeyth, as is the custom of his people. Those in his forest are also given a second name by which they are known to the outside world. This name was taken from a siginificant event that happened during the time of his birth. Nightbringer's birth was heralded by what sages call a solar eclipse. Because the sages were uncertain to the exact meaning of the omen, they took it upon themselves to watch the young faun's development. When his horns broke through during adolescence, one of them was black. This shocked the mystics, for black is one of the rarest colors for horns. It is also the color of the horns of the All Father of Fauns Faunus. They felt that their god had touched this male.

After Nightbringer's Rite of Passage, he declared it would be wisest for him to leave the 'safety' of his forest and learn more about the outside world and what threat those outside might offer his people. Many of the fey of the forest thought this madness, for none had ever left the forest before and Nightbringer was also destined for his father's seat at the Head of the Council.

Nightbringer has experienced many things on his wanderings through the world and has held many positions, the one of most note being that of Ambassador to Elowyn Ka of the Black Dragon Clan.
