The Fuath

Pronounced "Foo-ah", these creatures compose a large group of Fey and spirits that have a close connection with water, lochs, rivers and sometimes even the sea.  These Fey are dangerous and very malicious, and ranked in the courts of the Unseelie Fey..

Fuaths or Fuathan(the plural form of Fuath) possess Shapeshifting abilities and often enjoy taking on the form of Humans.  The Clans of both the High and Lowlands describe one of the common forms being that of a shaggy and hideously deformed human.  Some Fuathan have the hind quarters of a goat.

Whatever their form, Fuathan are rarely seen.  Because of their malice and evil deeds Humans normally avoid the remote terrain that these fey inhabit and seem to prefer.
