At the small holding of the Thildolemian Wood Elven Archer & Merchant Yarrow Fireshot, the Clan of F.A.E.R.I.E. gathered to hold their 3rd Spring Celebration. This was an Open Gathering & guests from various other Faery Realm were invited. This year's gathering was slightly different than the Spring Celebrations of the past, for the clan opened its festival to Master Mages. 5 Masters of various spheres & disciplines of magic responded to the Clan of F.A.E.R.I.E.'s invitation to attend the days events. The purpose of the Mages visit was to search for apprentices.
All Gathered at Yarrow's Haven on June 17th, 2000. Various events were held throughout the day, the majority were designed by at least one of the Master Mages in attendance to test the skills of the guests for possible pupils. Guests also strolled about the land to visit the Shrines of Magic, through the Cockatrine forest to enjoy the shade, viewed the wares for sale from various Realms and sample the delicacies from various regions throughout the Realm of the Myste.
As twilight neared, the Celebration's feast was brought out to the tables set out under the sky. After all had eaten their fill, the guests & Clan retired to the torchlit area near the Dragon Moat to watch the graceful dances of Limo Sierra (a guest from the Dragonclaw clan), the skills of the Cait Sidhe Warlord Juskutt Shadowmane Desdinova (also visiting from the Dragonclaw Realm), watch various other performances , listen to songs and learn who were the winners of the various contests (dessert, banner & Shrine) and Games. Raffles & Auctions of wonderous items were held. The Master Mages' apprentices were also named. Small frogs filled the evening with their songs as all enjoyed the late Spring night. A Magical time was had by all. |
