Every Spring the Clan of F.A.E.R.I.E. gathers together to hold their Spring Celebration. This year the Elden of the Clan received a parchment from Alexander Darke on behalf of the Council of the Freetown of Fellcliffe. Master Darke was seeking adventurers to help to end a dispute that was tearing the town apart. This missive was sent out to all those who were friends & guests of the Clan. As this event was to take place at the Freetown, the Elden left it up to the Council of that town to run their own festivities.
The adventureres gathered at the Grubby Plank Pub in the Freetown of Fellcliffe on the Eastern Sea coast. They were formed into teams, each team representing a faction that was part of the dispute in this town. Unfortunately the actual reason that the town was fighting was long forgotten, as it happened long ago, but it needed to be decided who was right so that life in the Freetown could return to normal. The premise was simple, whichever team won, it was decided that then that faction in the town would be in the "right" & thus will have won the argument & settled the dispute. The Council of Fellcliffe would then award the winners with the "Booty of Fellcliffe"- a treasure chest filled with various items, to show their gratitude.
The teams participated in various tests & competitions throughout the day & gained points. Whichever team with the most points was declared the winner.
Contests were also held to add to the festivities that surrounded the actual Team events. Contests for Ship standards, Town sites &/or campsites & Sea delicacy dessert contest were but a few.
As evening fell, the tables were assembled under a pavillion & a celebratory meal was served to those who answered the call to help the town. After the meal, the adventurers gathered for entertainment, awards for the various day's events were handed out by the council members, auctions & raffles were held & the Winner & the team that settled the dispute was announced.
