Mylnes Court Halls of Residence - Highland Trip June 2002
What Happened
In March 2002 Alistair, the deputy warden, and Aaron, one of the senior residents, decided that after much talk, it was about time they actually did something about organising a halls trip into the Scottish Highlands. It was decided that June would be a nice time to go, and so the dates were set for the 14th to 16th June. Two months later, they had another meeting and decided they should REALLY get something done, as people were beginning to ask about how to book a place. Things were quickly (for us anyway!) arranged and the trip duely commenced at 7am on Friday 14th.
Having braved Alistair's driving, some traditional Scottish weather (i.e. wet) and having visited some of the most beautiful places on the planet, the trip returned to Edinburgh on the afternoon of the Sunday, feeling tired (clubbing in Inverness anyone?) but happy. Here are a few pictures.....
