Clint Walker played Cheyenne Bodie from September 20, 1955 Until September 13, 1963. He was a drifter . In the first season he had a sidekick named Smitty played by L.Q. Jones. After the first year Cheyenne moved around alone.  Clint Walker to me was bigger than life. I look back now and wish I was an adult when this was on, it would have been 'California Here I Come!"  Clint Walker has to be one of the best looking men ever to be born. Add that to the fact that he could act and you got a winning combo.
