Phobia Illustration
Illustration to be used in a magazine article about phobias. The background is an acrylic monoprint, with the actual illustration in oil pastel. I chose to use an expressionist style.
Black and white marker pen drawing using a motif from another culture, and including an architectural element. I chose Greek designs from various mosaics and pottery decorations, and Ionic columns as the architectural element.

Wildlife Illustration
Realistic illustration to be used for a poster of an endangered species subtly depicting the reason they are endangered. This is an Australian wedge-tailed eagle. They were formerly shot by farmers in their thousands, then hung on fences to warn off other eagles who might be after their flocks. However, the 'wedgie' was found to have minimal impact on the flocks, and they are now protected. This illustration is in acrylic on illustration board.
