SACRED SINS |
|
|
A 23 year old student was murdered with a priest's white scarf around her throat. There was a note left beside her, saying her sins were forgiven. Detectives Ben Paris and Ed Jackson investigate this murder. Psychiatrist Dr. Theresa (Tess) Court begins to profile the murderer. Three story lines compliment each other and position Dr. Court in the center. The primary is the murder of young blond women in their 20's. Multiple murders occur and Dr. Tess fits the criteria of the victims. The murders coincide with Holy Days within the Catholic Church. The secondary story line involve Detective Ben Paris and Tess where a chemistry and tension exist. The third story line centers Joey Higgins, a young patient of Dr. Tess. This boy, a young teen, is depressed and an alcoholic. As the reader, you will follow Joey's journey. The characters in this story are very realistic. Neither Tess nor Ben liked the ugliness that comes with the other's job. One of the aspects of this story shows how greatly their occupations affect them. Sacred Sins is a suspense/thriller that is gentled with the relationship of Tess and Ben. |
