Detective Sam Ashburn and his partner Mike Murphy are investigating the murders of two young women, both beautiful, both blond, both in their twenties. When the second one was found, Sam thought he had a serial killer on his hands. Neither crime revealed any clues. Not a hair, fingerprint, nothing. No skin under the girl's fingernails,no sign of forced entry.

When the third girl, same description, same MO was found, however there was a tiny bit more to work on.

I enjoyed this book very much. It is a police procedural very much in the style of the old Dragnet series on tv. (Just the facts, ma'am.) It keeps the reader guessing until the very end , or anyway it did this reader. The characters were realistic and drew me into their world. I couldn't put it down and stayed with it until I finished. A real page turner. I highly recommend this one.
