Malice Domestic is published once a year and is the best anthologies put out. Some of the best authors in the mystery field are represented and put to work in this book. K.K. Beck puts her fiendish mind to giving us a delight with an all-new story featuring Iris Cooper. A tattoo plays a significant role in Simon Brett's story "A Note of Note". Susan Dunlap will make you think twice about ever hiring a house-sitter and Carolyn Hart will have you pondering Karma in her story. The best part of this anthology is the opportunity to try out new authors and to visit some of my old favorites. It was great to see new stories from Melodie Johnson Howe and M.D. Lake. I also discovered authors such as Anne Perry and Sujata Massey. I will go out looking for their books now. This anthology is filled with wonderful stories, not a disappointment in the lot. I recommend this book to any serious mystery reader; this is definitely a keeper!
