Author Joanne Fluke mixes up a delightful recipe for murder in her first Hannah Swenson Mystery, CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE MURDER. When Hannah finds Cozy Cow Dairy deliveryman Ron LaSalle in his milk truck behind her cookie shop, she is horrified to find he is not only dead, but is clutching one of her signature Chocolate Chip Crunch cookies in his hand. Determined not to let her beloved shop, The Cookie Jar, get a bad rap, Hannah jumps at the chance to assist her Sheriff brother-in-law in investigating the murder. Fluke has created a wonderful cast of characters and the cookie recipes included are to die for! While it's true that one can't always judge a book by its cover, I was completely enchanted by the cover for CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE MURDER and this new series is off to a very promising start. I look forward to more of Hannah's adventures in the future!
