MANAGING EXPANSION MODULES

        In addition to working for the JV-80, JV-880, JV-90, and JV-1000,
JVEDIT can be made to work for the Roland Expansion modules (e.g. M-DC1,
M-OC1, M-VS1, M-SE1, etc.) as well. That's because Expansion modules can
be seen as a JV-80 synth engine equipped with an Expansion board (the name
of which usually is the same as the module itself).  

        Just type up an ASCII file of the waveforms in your unit one
waveform name per line (or check the .EXP files JVEDIT.ZIP comes with) and
select the file as an Expansion board wave name list (in the configuration
dialog), and don't try to select waveforms from the Internal waveform list
(modules don't have those waves).
