If you are adverse to reading documentation you can probably get
the program running by executing the JVEDIT.EXE command (under Windows).
Your first step should be to configure the program from the

		Edit
		  Configure for your JV

menu item. If you have changed the Unit Number of your JV from the factory
default setting of 17, you will need to use the

		Edit
		  Select Unit Number

menu item to set the program's unit number to match the setting of your JV.
Use the "Update Configuration File" button to preserve any changes you make.
Also, be sure your JV is in "Patch" mode (as opposed to "Performance" mode).

If you encounter problems consult the Troubleshooting section of the
JVEDIT.DOC file. You might want to glance over the JVEDIT.DOC file a little
anyway to alert yourself to features that you may not have noticed.

Good Luck, and enjoy the editor,
