Overview
The package contains two programs:
- A MIDI driver, "Hubi's LoopBack Device", which must be installed via
control panel. The driver offers virtual MIDI Ports (up to 4), which act
as both Input and Output MIDI devices. All MIDI data sent to the output
(a typical sequencer program) is sent to all programs at the input side
(eg. a MIDI monitor program). The ports are named "LB1" to "LB4" by
default and can be renamed
- A MIDI-Thru application, "Hubi's MIDI Cable", which connects Midi-Inputs
with Midi Outputs. It is useful for quick connections between LoopBack Ports
and Hardware Ports, or to play your Soundcard Synth from external MIDI keyboard
The two programs work independently each other.
