TAURUS PATCH BANK #1
ROLAND SUPER JV-1080

001: 1984
Three words: warm, fat, rich. A goog example of the sort
of string sounds you can produce using the wave boosters.
Very analog in character.

002: 2004
More resonant version of "1984", with a filter sweep.

003: LUVVABLE
Cute analog synth impression!!

004: SIMPLE + SWEET
Single oscillator lead with long echoes Aftertouch yields a
vibrato/tremolo, very soulful to play in the higher registers.
Like 'synth piccolo'.

005: CS-VOLUNTARE
Yamaha CS-synth analog horn patch. Activate tones 2, 3 or
4 for different harmonies.

006: JUST 2 SINES
Buzzy, overtone-rich lead voice. Uses two sine waves and
Structure 3. Aftertouch for LFO key-synced vibrato.

007: LOVELYJUBBLY
Evocative pad sound, hold chords for filter effect. Uses a
subsonic wave in a carrier/modulator relationship for a great
'fake LFO' effect. Activate tones 3 and 4 simultaneously for
extra swirls.

008: PLANETARIUM
My fave! Thick, swirly analog brass patch. Aftertouch raises
the pitch of tones 3 and 4 a perfect fifth - gives a very
'progressive' sound to this 'boosted' patch.

009: MOD-WAH BASS
Great fun to play. A heavily modified version of an internal
lead voice, would you believe...

010: SHES A MOD!
TVF-Wah lead voice using the 'Rotary' EFX program and
stereo echoes.

011: FLANGED+DLAYED
Wailing electric guitar. Aftertouch for feedback, which can
be latched with the hold pedal for 'whammy' effects!

012: SOUNDTRACKXP
Evocative variation on the D-50 classic. Aftertouch gives a
vox pad. This is a great example of the modulated delay
EFX program.

013: WINTER DAWN
Simple pad, very bleak.

014: LV-426
Think 'Aliens'....get it?

015: RICH STRINGS
Again, using structure 3 for a powerful analog-strings type
sound. Slam the keys for a more open filter.
