Crescent Snowball Cookies

2 cups flour

1 cup soft margarine

1 cup ground pecans or pecan meal

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/8 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla

1/4 tsp almont extract

Powdered Sugar for Coating

Mix ingredients with hands until thoroughly blended. Cover and refrigerate for one hour.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Form into 1-inch balls and shape into crescents. � Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake 10 to 12 minutes until set (golden but not brown). Remove from oven and sift powdered sugar over the tops.

Makes 4 dozen cookies.
