Baking Powder Biscuits

2 cups sifted flour

4 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

5 Tbsp margarine

3/4 cup skim milk

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.� Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.� Cut margarine in with a blending fork or dough blender until fat is the size of small peas.� Add milk all at once.� Stir until dough is all mixed and forms a ball.� Roll out on a lightly floured board to the thickness of aobut 1/2 inch and cut with a 2-inch cutter.� Place 1 inch apart on baking sheet.� Bake 12 to 14 minutes.

Makes 16 biscuits.
